The "Bell of Peace" was forged in Italy from thousands
of fallen bullet cartridges, collected by children in the region of Zadrima in
northwestern Albania. It rang for the first time on 1 January 2000 in Tirana, and is
currently displayed in front of the International Cultural Center (Pyramid building) on
the main boulevard.
