3rd round of self-employment programme for young people launched in Tirana

The third round of self-employment programme for young people was launched today in Tirana. Proposed business ideas will receive support from this measure implemented by UNDP in partner-ship with National Employment Service with funding from Government of Switzerland. Support in-cludes training, mentoring and finance to start-ups.

Valter is a person with disability from Kavaja who receives social assistance. Every month, municipalities display on paper the list of beneficiaries eligible for social assistance. Having no other means to find out if his name was in the list, Valter had to travel from his remote village to the city center every month.
